Puro Caff - 20 Ounce - Espresso Machine Cleaner

Puro Espresso Machine Cleaning Powder, a 20oz/566g jar, is a pure powder detergent formulated for use on espresso machines. To backflush each group head, insert a blind filter into the portafilter and add up to 1/2 teaspoon (3g) of the pure powder. Then, insert the portafilter into the group head, activate the brew cycle for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds, and repeat this process 5 times. Afterwards, insert the portafilter into the group head and repeat the step without the Puro powder 5 times.

For soaking, use 1 teaspoon (6g) of the pure powder per 32oz (1L) of hot water to soak the filters and metal of the portafilter for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean hot water.

When cleaning coffee brewers, first empty the coffee grounds from the equipment. Then, sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon (3g) of the pure powder per 64oz (2L) of brewer capacity directly into the brew basket. Run a full brew cycle into each vessel and let it sit for 30 minutes before emptying and rinsing all parts with clean hot water.

As a tip, wet a cloth with the Puro powder solution and use it to wipe down the spray heads, then rinse clean. Caution should be taken as the solution may be very hot.
